Her real name is Martina Dwamena, and she was born on June 1, 1994.
Even though the 29-year-old was born in Accra, her home town is Akrokerri, which is near Obuasi in Ghana’s Ashanti Region.

Asantewaa married Jeffrey Obiri Boahen in 2017. She was only 23 years old at the time. Boahen would go on to become a senior executive at AngloGold Ashanti.
