Afua Asantewaa Aduonum had set a clear goal for herself: to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon. Her incredible journey began on December 24, 2023, and was scheduled to conclude on December 27, 2023.

The previous record holder, Sunil Waghmare, had set a high bar in 2012 with an impressive record of 105 hours of continuous singing.

However, on December 29, 2023, Afua emerged victorious, surpassing the previous record with an astonishing 126 hours and 52 minutes of non-stop singing. Her achievement was nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing her determination, endurance, and passion for music.
