Anything can happen; be prepared to be president – Kwesi Ahwoi tells Jane Naana

A video featuring Kwesi Ahwoi, a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), discussing the nomination of Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as the party’s running mate has caused a stir on social media.

Speaking at an NDC event, Ahwoi advised Prof Jane Naana to be prepared for the possibility of becoming President of Ghana, as unforeseen circumstances can lead to such a scenario.

He recalled how former President John Mahama was not initially prepared for the presidency, but circumstances, such as the untimely death of former President Atta-Mills, resulted in him assuming the role.

Ahwoi emphasized the importance of being ready for any eventuality, referencing Prof Jane Naana’s motto.

The video, which has since gone viral, has raised eyebrows among Ghanaians, with many questioning if Ahwoi has inside information that the public is unaware of.

While the reasoning behind his statement remains unclear, the video has sparked speculation and curiosity.

Ghanaians are left wondering if Ahwoi’s comments hint at a potential shift in leadership within the NDC.
