Exploitation of the poor made me stop going to church- Bisa Kdei

Bisa Kdei recently mentioned in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo that he has stopped attending church.

However, he clarified that despite not physically going to church, he still worships God in his heart.

The Highlife star explained that he used to be a regular churchgoer but decided to stop due to what he perceived as exploitative behavior by some preachers.

Bisa Kdei expressed his disappointment in pastors who ask for money for prayers and criticized the practice of favoring wealthy members over those in need.

He recounted a personal experience where a pastor refused to pray for his mother because she hadn’t been attending church regularly, which led him to question the purpose of the church.

As a result, Bisa Kdei now chooses to give back to the needy instead of attending church services. His latest song, “Medaase (Thank You),” reflects his current mindset.

Overall, Bisa Kdei has shared that he has various reasons for staying away from church and prioritizes helping others over traditional religious practices.
