“I have forgiven Ghanaians for insulting me”- chef faila

Failatu Abdul-Razak recently addressed the controversy surrounding her comments, which had sparked a significant backlash on social media.

The renowned chef had made a statement during an interview with Joy Prime on January 12, expressing her disappointment that certain prominent figures did not attend her cook-a-thon event, unlike a previous singathon organized by Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, which had received significant support from big-name musicians such as Shatta Wale.

Failatu’s remarks had upset Ghanaians, leading to a wave of criticism directed at her. However, during an appearance on TV3’s Newday show on January 18, 2024, Failatu clarified that her comments had been misinterpreted.

She emphasized that people had taken her words out of context and expressed forgiveness towards those who had insulted her without reason.
