“I Have Never Regretted Joining Freemason” – Otumfuo States In His Speech At His 25th Anniversary In Freemason

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who is also the Grand Patron of the Grand Lodge of Ghana, recently expressed his satisfaction with his 25-year membership in Freemasonry.

He acknowledged the initial uncertainties that come with joining a society or club, stating that one cannot help but wonder about the benefits or restrictions that may await.

However, despite these concerns, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II spoke positively about his experience as a Freemason, emphasizing that he has no regrets and has found it to be a fulfilling journey.

Looking towards the future, the Asantehene highlighted his commitment to making Freemasonry beneficial to Ghana and its citizens, with a focus on promoting peace.

He expressed optimism about the growth of the Grand Lodge, emphasizing the importance of dedicated members who provide support to those in need and uphold truthfulness.

Additionally, he urged the Grand Lodge to expand its influence to regions that have not yet experienced its initiatives.

A grand ceremony was held at the Sir Agyeman Prempeh II Hall in Kumasi to celebrate the Asantehene’s 25 years in Freemasonry.

The event began with a procession of Grand Lodge Officers and visiting delegations from around the world, with the Asante royals, led by the Otumfuo, in attendance. MW Bro.

Nana Osei Atwene Bonsu, the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Ghana, welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted Otumfuo’s initiation into Freemasonry 25 years ago at the Osei Tutu Lodge.
