“I have not enriched myself with NPP money, i support the party because of loyalty”- Agya Koo

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has strongly denied accusations that his support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government is financially motivated.

He has clarified that his decision to campaign for the NPP is based on his genuine love for the party and his belief in its principles.

Agya Koo has dismissed claims that the NPP has provided him with financial assistance following the challenges faced by the Kumawood movie industry.

In an interview with Nana Yaa Brefo in Ejisu, Agya Koo emphasized that there is no truth to the allegations that he supports the NPP in exchange for financial benefits.

When questioned about the accusations, Agya Koo responded by challenging anyone to provide evidence of money being deposited into his bank account from the NPP.

He sarcastically suggested checking all his bank accounts to see if any funds were received, or if he personally collected money from the Jubilee House.

Overall, Agya Koo has made it clear that his support for the NPP is driven by his personal convictions and loyalty to the party, rather than any financial incentives.
