I Have Spent More Than $100k On Promotion of ‘A Country Called Ghana’ – LilWin Brags

Popular Kumawood actor, LilWin, has revealed that he has invested nearly $100,000 in promoting his latest movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’.

In his efforts to generate buzz for the film, he purchased a new Mercedes Benz C43 AMG and adorned it with flyers advertising the movie.

The total cost of acquiring and branding the Benz is estimated to be around GH₵500,000.

Additionally, LilWin mentioned that over 3000 T-shirts have been printed at a cost of GH₵50 each, and more than 60 billboards have been erected in Accra and Kumasi at a cost of GH₵6000 each to further promote the movie.

He clarified that these expenses were incurred to garner support for the Ghanaian movie industry and to boost interest in the film among the Ghanaian audience.

LilWin emphasized that the total expenditure on promotion alone for the movie is approaching $100,000.

Despite potential criticism, he is confident in the validity of these figures and is willing to provide evidence to support his claims.

Reflecting on his promotional tactics, LilWin humorously suggested that he should have gone as far as acquiring a mansion and branding it as ‘A Country Called Ghana’.
