“I use to sell firewood before i became famous”- Actor Nana Yeboah

In a recent interview, Kumawood actor Nana Yeboah shared his journey from humble beginnings to success.

He spoke about the challenges he faced in his early years, mentioning how he used to sell firewood to make a living around 1997.

When his firewood business slowed down, he switched to selling fried yam and fish to local workers.

At the age of 21, he traveled to Abidjan, where he earned money to buy his first plot of land and build a small house.

Despite facing mockery for building what some called a “boy’s quarters,” Nana Yeboah saw it as a wise investment compared to renting.

Upon returning to Ghana, he joined a cultural troupe where he danced kete and adowa and occasionally played in the band, which brought in a good income.

As the hype surrounding that career faded, he decided to pursue his true passion for acting.

Nana Yeboah has since become a prominent member of the Kumawood film industry.
