“I Would Have Paid GH¢5,900,500 If We Breached The Contract”- Medikal explains why his 02 show ended quickly

Ghanaian musician Medikal, Samuel Adu Frimpong, recently spoke out about issues that arose during his concert at the Indigo O2 in London.

He explained that the show had to end promptly at 11:00 pm to avoid breaching the contract and facing hefty penalties.

This meant that some of the performances had to be cut short, including those of loyal friends and fellow musicians who had traveled to support him, such as BET rapper Sarkodie.

In an interview with MzGee on United Showbiz, Medikal expressed his disappointment that some fans arrived late, causing the show to start behind schedule.

He emphasized that he sees himself as an individual artist, a brand, and a company.

He acknowledged that the venue was too small for the turnout they had expected and that in the future, he would opt for a larger venue like the O2 Arena to accommodate all his fans.

Medikal stressed the importance of adhering to contractual agreements and avoiding unnecessary expenses.

Despite the challenges faced during the concert, he remains determined to provide his fans with unforgettable experiences at future events.
