If you follow NPP as a young man, you’ll go broke – Actor Michael Afrane

Michael Afrane, a well-known Ghanaian actor and producer, has advised young Ghanaians to be cautious when aligning themselves with political parties. He specifically warned against joining the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as he believes that their party executives are stingy and following them could lead to financial struggles.

In an interview, the Kumawood actor criticized the NPP government under President Akufo Addo, claiming that they have not provided any significant opportunities for the youth of the country.

He accused the NPP of being embroiled in various scandals and being filled with corrupt individuals.

Afrane expressed his belief that if former President Mahama does not return in the upcoming elections, the prospects for the average Ghanaian youth are bleak.

He emphasized his point by stating that aligning with the NPP would result in financial hardship due to the stinginess of their executives, contrasting them with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members who he believes are more generous.

Furthermore, Afrane condemned the Nana Addo-led government for their alleged involvement in scandals, theft, and corruption, describing them as the most corrupt government in Ghana’s history.

He urged young Ghanaians to carefully consider their political affiliations and warned against supporting the NPP, as he believes it will lead to financial difficulties and disappointment.
