IGP Dampare spotted at Kyekyeku’s 1957 movie premiere (watch video)

Ghana’s Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare, was seen at the National Theatre attending the second premiere of Ghanaian actor Kyekyeku’s debut movie, “1957.”

Dressed in a black Lacoste shirt and jeans, accompanied by a group of people, a TikTok video shared by Yaw Plug captured Dampare arriving at the National Theatre on April 27, 2024.

The presence of the IGP at the young actor’s movie premiere garnered positive reactions on social media, with many praising him for his humility and support for the Kumawood actor.

Some netizens expressed admiration for Dampare, calling him the best IGP and even suggesting he could be a good president of Ghana due to his result-oriented approach.

In addition to Dampare, other actors like Nana Ama Mcbrown, Aka Ebenezer, Eddie Nartey, Kwappiah, and Vanessa Nicole, Funny Face’s partner, were also present at the event to show their support for Kyekyeku.

Directed by 925, “1957” was initially premiered in Kumasi on March 6, 2024, and featured popular actors such as Aka Ebenezer and Kalsuome Sinare.
