“I’m Not Running For MP Anymore” – Lil win Reveals

Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, a well-known Kumawood actor and movie producer, has decided to put his plans to run for a parliamentary seat on hold due to financial constraints.

Lil Win had initially expressed his intention to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Afigya Kwabre North constituency in the Ashanti region.

However, during an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Lil Win revealed that he will be postponing his political ambitions until 2028.

He explained that the cost of running a successful campaign is substantial and that he currently lacks the necessary funds to support his candidacy.

Lil Win also mentioned that he will not be aligning himself with any political party, as he has friends in both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He stated, “I am going independent. Likewise, I can’t join a political party because I love both parties and have friends everywhere.”

Lil Win expressed his disappointment at not being able to pursue his political aspirations at this time but remains hopeful for the future.

He plans to focus on his career and continue to entertain his fans through his movies and acting roles until he is able to revisit his political ambitions in the future.
