It is unacceptable to cheat on your partner during marriage – Kofi Kinaata

Ghanaian musician and rapper Kofi Kinaata has expressed his strong disapproval of infidelity in relationships. During a conversation on marriage with fellow musician Okyeame Kwame, Kofi Kinaata made it clear that being unfaithful to your spouse is unacceptable.

Okyeame Kwame mentioned that in the past, women were taught to accept their husbands’ infidelity and even have concubines, especially among the Akans. He also pointed out that some Muslim girls were raised to believe that a Mallam could have multiple wives.

In the Ashanti culture, it was ingrained in daughters that they should not leave their husbands for cheating on them.

However, Kofi Kinaata firmly stated that infidelity should not be tolerated in any relationship. He emphasized that betraying your spouse is a definite no-go in his books.

Despite the cultural norms and practices that may have condoned infidelity in the past, Kofi Kinaata stands by his belief that faithfulness is essential in a marriage.

In a society where such views on infidelity are slowly changing, Kofi Kinaata’s stance serves as a reminder of the importance of loyalty and commitment in relationships.
