Lilwin called Jackie Appiah to feature in his movie, but Jackie Declined because she was busy buying a carpet- close source reveals

Disappointed Ghanaian musician, Flattelo, has revealed the reason behind Kumawood actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin’s decision to feature Nollywood stars in his upcoming movie, “A Country Called Ghana” instead of Ghanaian actors and actresses.

The choice to bring Nigerian actors to Ghana for the film has sparked discussions online.

In an interview with Rashard, Adu Flattelo, who claims to be close to Lilwin, shared that Lilwin initially had intentions of including Ghanaian actors and actresses in the movie.

Flattelo mentioned that Lilwin resorted to flying in Nigerian actors because he couldn’t find any Ghanaian actors willing to take part in the project.

Lilwin had reached out to several popular actors and actresses in Ghana, offering to pay them for their roles, but they turned him down.

Flattelo specifically mentioned that well-respected Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah, declined the offer to be in the movie.

According to Flattelo, Jackie’s reason for refusing was that she had recently purchased a new carpet and wanted to use it to decorate her room instead.

Overall, Flattelo’s comments shed light on the challenges faced by Lilwin in casting Ghanaian actors for his movie and the lengths he had to go to in order to make the project a reality.
