My Dad Made me H@te Men, He Divorced my Mom the day I was Born Just Because

I was born on the 4th of July 1998, without a father figure in my life. My mother told me that my father left her in the hospital when he found out I was a girl.

Despite not having a dad, my mom played both roles admirably.

My dad had left us for his first wife after having two daughters with my mom.

Things got tougher when my mom lost her job in 2008 and my dad passed away without us even knowing.

I was taken in by another family as a house help at a young age but eventually returned to my mom.

I then stayed with my uncle and his family, who were police officers.

I finished my secondary education with them but faced more challenges when my sister fell ill with Goiter.

Despite the hardships, I finally got admission into a polytechnic after five years and my mom is working hard to support us.

Life may not be easy, but we hold on to hope for a better future.
