Nigerian Graduate who sells Food in Wheelbarrow – says she makes money more than salary earners

A Nigerian graduate named Jossy Otu, who runs a mobile food business, has revealed that her earnings surpass those of traditional salary earners. Despite being married to a lawyer, Otu chose to create a job for herself when she couldn’t secure employment elsewhere.

In the beginning, she faced apprehension and shame due to societal expectations. However, her determination paid off and she made a profit of N150,000 ($275) in two months. She credits her success to her determination and willingness to step out of her comfort zone, urging others to do the same.

Otu’s business is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship, resilience, and self-reliance. Despite the criticism, she remains proud of her hustle and uses her story to implore others to start small businesses.

She also emphasizes the need for women to be independent and support their partners financially, challenging traditional gender roles. Her spirit of enterprise and independence is a source of inspiration for many, as she continues to defy societal norms and expectations.
