Obuasi: 3 JHS Girls Reported Missing For Weeks Found Camped In Their Boyfriends’ Room

Three individuals in Obuasi have been apprehended by the police for keeping three teenage Junior High School girls captive and engaging in sexual activities with them.

The girls went missing on April 24, 2024, and were later found in the company of the suspects on May 8, 2024.

The suspects, David Opoku (23), Klinsman Osei (25), and Eric Boateng (32), were discovered along with the girls in a room in Bossman, a suburb of Obuasi. The victims were found naked on a bed with the suspects present at the time of the police raid.

One of the girls managed to escape during the operation.

Upon questioning, the suspects confessed to having sexual relations with the girls, whom they referred to as their girlfriends.

The suspects are set to appear in court next week, while the victims will receive medical attention and follow-up care.

The police are taking necessary steps to ensure justice is served in this disturbing case.
