Okomfo Kwadee’s new video evokes emotions among Ghanaians [Watch]

Ghanaians are feeling a sense of sadness and concern after viewing a recent video of the once vibrant musician, Okomfo Kwadee, which showcases the stark reality of his current situation.

Once known for his talent and charm, Okomfo Kwadee now appears disheveled and impoverished, a stark contrast to his former self.

The legendary hiplife artist, Okomfour Kwadee, whose real name is Jerry Anaba, was captured performing for a large audience in his hometown, and the video has quickly spread across social media.

In the viral video, Okomfo Kwadee can be seen performing his popular 2002 hit song “Meyere Ne Menpena” for a crowd in what appears to be a dusty park without a proper stage setup.

Instead, he stood in the midst of the audience, entertaining them with his music. The hitmaker looked untidy, wearing a men’s tank top paired with rolled-up jeans.

For many Ghanaians who grew up listening to Okomfo Kwadee’s music and admiring his talent, witnessing his current state is deeply troubling.

The video has sparked a wave of concern and empathy for the once-celebrated musician.
