“One Woman Is Enough” – Bukom Banku Advises Young Boxers To Av0id Women For Success In Boxing

Bukom Banku, also known as Braimah Kamoko, advised young boxers to steer clear of vices such as alcohol, smoking, and womanizing to succeed in their boxing careers.

He stressed the importance of discipline and focus during an interview on the Ayeeko Ayeeko mid-morning show with host Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM.

Banku, whose real surname is Issah, shared three essential rules for aspiring boxers, emphasizing the need to avoid distractions that could hinder their success in the ring.

He highlighted that abiding by these rules is crucial for any boxer aiming to thrive in the competitive boxing arena.

Despite being perceived as someone who indulges in alcohol, Banku clarified that he has never taken alcohol and attributes his natural disposition to this misconception.

The seasoned boxer, who has won 45 fights and only lost one, reflected on his defeat to Samir Basti in 2016 as a learning experience.

Overall, Banku’s advice to young boxers underscores the importance of maintaining a clean lifestyle to achieve greatness in the sport.
