Popular Ghanaian lawyer Nana Serwah found dead in hotel (See details)

Nana Serwah Godson-Amamoo, a well-known lawyer and partner at AB & David Africa, a top law firm in Ghana, has sadly passed away in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

According to reports from asaaseradio.com, she collapsed after returning to her hotel from a scuba diving trip.

With more than 19 years of experience in the energy and extractive industries, Nana Serwah was highly esteemed in her field.

As a partner in AB & David Africa’s Natural Resources and Extractive Industries Practice Group, she represented clients on various matters related to natural resources, energy, mining, and other extractive industries.

Her expertise included acquisitions, deal structuring, negotiation support, project development, joint ventures, and local content considerations within these sectors.

Nana Serwah also headed the firm’s Government Business and Regulation Practice Group, offering advice to African governments on public sector organizational and policy reform initiatives.

She played a key role in shaping industry legislation, supporting capacity building efforts, and enhancing systems and human resources.

Nana Serwah’s passing is a great loss to the legal and business community, as well as to all those who knew and worked with her.
