Techiman To Accra: Ghanaian Man Embarking On Walking Marathon arrives at Independece square

Seidu Rafiwu, a strong young man from Techiman in the Bono East Region of Ghana, made the bold decision on April 26th, 2024, to attempt a Walk-A-Thon to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Walking Marathon by an individual.


Starting precisely at 8 am on a Saturday, Rafiwu set out on his journey from Techiman, intending to reach Accra, a total distance of 381.5 kilometers.

Throughout his journey, Rafiwu passed through various towns and cities, including Kumasi and Konongo in the Ashanti region, as well as Nkawkaw and Suhum in the Eastern region.

Despite facing numerous challenges and obstacles along the way, Rafiwu remained determined and focused on achieving his goal.

After several days of non-stop walking, Seidu Rafiwu finally arrived in the Greater Accra Region this morning, where he was greeted with cheers and applause at the Independence Square.

His incredible feat has not only showcased his physical endurance and mental strength but has also inspired many others to push their limits and strive for greatness.

Through his determination and perseverance, Seidu Rafiwu has proven that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

His journey serves as a testament to the power of human resilience and the importance of never giving up on your dreams.
